Babcock Saylor, Melissa Melissa Babcock Saylor's light, cheerful watercolors perfectly match her personality. She attended Oregon College of Art, worked in advertising, and was the editorial artist for one of Oregon's largest newspapers, The Statement Journal. Being family oriented, she started Melissa's Art, a greeting card company, in 1992 so she could work at home. Melissa lives in an historic home in Albany, Oregon with her husband Steve and her children Todd and Meg.
"Painting is a joy to me. I paint the many things that surround me, the gardens, my historic neighborhood and the beautiful pacific Northwest. To say that I love my hometown and family is putting it mildly. In my yard, which my daughter named the Friendship Garden, are many of the flowers that I remember blooming in my grandmother's garden. To have the opportunity to paint as well as do all the other things I love, is more than I ever dreamed. I hope that my joy will bring pleasure to others as well."

Balogh, Beth Beth Balogh creates sophisticated imagery using beautiful handmade papers, painted textures and flowers. Educated at the University of Michigan School of Art, she's earned many awards and has worked in the social expression industry for the past seven years. Ms. Balogh finds inspiration and support from creative friends, her designer husband, her two very talented children and her dog.
"I am intrigued by color, texture, shape and their strikingly eloquent interaction in nature. Drawing on both natural and environmental influences, I bridge both traditional and non-traditional methods to create visual relationships. These prints are but a snippet of the beauty that abounds around us. If only there was enough time to capture all the possibilities!"

Chou, Scarlett Scarlett Chou was born in Taiwan, and currently resides in Irvine, Southern California. Often compared to the master of Art Deco, Erte, Scarlett Chou transcends impressions from the centuries old paintbrush. Reminiscent of Klimt, she creates computer-generated works that are uniquely influenced by her Chinese heritage. Her art, steeped in traditional Eastern culture, with an infusion of modern and Western motifs, is a reflection of her beliefs, emotions, and experiences. Scarlett Chou's work has appeared in books, magazines, selected galleries, luxury cruises and fine arts auctions.
"My mother thought that creativity is the spirit of an art. So my mother encouraged me to use my own methods to express my creativity and imagination. The profound and mysterious cultures of the Orient have had a tremendous influence on me since my youth. My inspiration comes from Asian culture, nature and beautiful imaginations in my mind which see images of swaying flower petals and flying angels with its own story and music."
"To me, the computer is a paintbrush with unlimited possibilities that further adds to my ability to create. I can work with very fine details and with different layers of color schemes."

Clark, Bradley Bradley Clark creates traditional watercolor landscapes and gardenscapes. Raised in the mountains of Idaho and trained at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, he paints "plein air" whenever possible. His watercolors can be found in corporate and private collections nationally and internationally. He lives with his wife and three children in the historic town of Rhinebeck, NY.
"The directness of on-site painting is something I need. It helps balance the careful and designed images from my studio. I enjoy painting both ways and exhibit both kinds of work. My work is realistic and decorative and often has a storytelling quality. I work to capture the textures and rich colors I find when I paint outdoors in strong sunlight or moody weather. My paintings reflect my interest in the profusion of blooms, the presence of native architecture and the atmospheric perspective in landscape. My aim is to obtain a realistic result captured with an immediacy of gesture."
